Awa uit Gambia is 4 jaar oud en heeft haar hand/arm 2 jaar geleden verbrand. Doordat op dat moment in haar land geen kundigheid is/was om het goed te verzorgen zal zij levenslang gehandicapt blijven. De enige mogelijkheid is om hersteloperaties in het buitenland te laten plaatsvinden zodat Awa een toekomst krijgt.
